INTERVIEW FOLLOW-UP
Before you leave the interviewer, be sure to get his or her business card. As soon as you can, drop the person a short thank-you note. Take a look at a sample thank-you note in the Appendix for what that note might say.
ENDNOTE
In summary, the college interview is a wonderful opportunity for you to develop a personal relationship with someone on the college admissions staff. That connection is worth the time and trouble alone. Rarely does an interview negatively affect a student’s chances of being admitted; usually it helps.
